Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need a special launcher to ignite the dual "E"
engines?
- How large a flying field do I need?
- Are you going to come out with more models?
- Are the rockets that hard to build?
- Do you sell replacement parts?
- The rockets look great, but I don't have the time or space to build one,
can I buy a completed kit?
- How are your kits different than other kits on the market?
- You need a launcher powered by a car battery.
The normal Estes launch controller will not consistently ignite both engines
at the same time. An easy solution is to modify the standard Estes launcher.

- The rocket will go about 1000' high. With no
wind, a 100 yard square field would be fine. Small rockets can come
down fast with no damage. Large Rockets need large chutes to prevent
damage, so they will drift more than a small rocket. With some wind,
you would need a larger field.
- Yes, we already have ideas for our next few designs.
Our goal is to have every new design, fit back into the box, so storage and
transportation are easy. We plan to have a Spaceline series and to
have a missile series named after snakes.
- No, they are not. If you follow the
directions, you can build an outstanding looking rocket. The parts are
all cut out, you just need to do minor sanding. You will have to drill
8 small holes and 2 1/4" holes. We include a color picture of the
suggested paint scheme and decal placement. We supply water slide
decals for a professional looking finish.
- Yes, we do. We sell replacement nose cones ($4.99
+ shipping) and basswood fins ($5.99 + shipping).
- Yes you can. Check out our price list. The
completed kits make an outstanding birthday/Xmas present. Even though
they are big (over 5 1/2 feet tall), they can be stored in the original
shipping box.
- The kits are not mass produced. My son and I box
every kit that goes out. We make all the wood parts ourselves.
We include a 45" Top Flite parachute (one of the best on the market), that
is made of quality rip stop nylon, hand sewn and uses braided nylon lines.
Cheaper chutes use twisted line, that over time will unravel. Retail
price on the parachute alone is $20.00 We include water slide decals,
so the rocket you build will actually look like the one in the pictures. In our Spaceline series rockets, we can customize the decals with your name
- no one else does this. We feel the value you get for the price we
charge is outstanding.
